The short version: you can use the whole site without an account, there are no ads and no analytics or tracking scripts, and what you create stays in your browser unless you choose to sign in.

Stored in your browser

Your builds, tier lists and the last staff comparison are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time. They never leave your device unless you sign in. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

If you sign in with Google

Signing in is optional and only used to keep your builds and tier lists in sync between devices. It uses Google's Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with the site; they are shown in the account menu and are not used for anything else.

Your builds and tier lists are then also stored in a Google Cloud Firestore database, in a record that only your account can read or write. Firebase keeps your sign-in state in your browser's storage. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Signing out keeps your builds on that device. To have your account's saved data deleted, write to contact@wukongcodex.com.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure and its domain is run through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they process technical request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. The site itself does not set cookies, and its fonts and images are served from this site rather than from third parties.

Changes

If this changes (for example if ads or analytics are ever added), this page will be updated first.
